Waterproof means a product is completely resistant to water. It prevents water from passing through, even when exposed to rain, splashes, or short-term submersion. In packaging, this ensures that the contents remain dry and protected, regardless of weather or accidental spills.

Note: “Waterproof” often means short‑term exposure or splashes. Submersion or prolonged exposure may still cause issues unless clearly specified.
