What is the difference between the 17gsm and 28gsm paper?
17 GSM is very lightweight, traditional tissue paper. 28+ GSM is a medium-weight paper closer to thin wrapping paper, offering greater durability and being required for 2-Color or Full Background printing due to the higher ink load.
Are all inks used on the tissue paper safe for composting and recycling?
Yes. The inks are Soy-based or Water-based to ensure they do not contaminate the paper during the composting or recycling process.
Why does my colored design look dull or translucent on the tissue paper?
Tissue paper is thin and semi-transparent. The light color of the paper and its low opacity mean the print is not fully opaque and will naturally look softer or more translucent than it would on a thick, opaque label or box.
If I only print on one side, will my logo be visible on the back?
Yes. Because the paper is semi-transparent, your design will be visible from the unprinted side with a softer, reversed effect.
Can I print a full-color photo or gradient?
Yes. However, tissue paper is a delicate medium best suited for simple vector artwork, logos, or repeating patterns. Complex graphics, thin lines (under ~0.3mm), small text (under ~5pt), and gradients are generally not recommended as they can blur or "muddle" when printed.
What file format is required for my artwork?
Vector format is universally required (AI or PDF preferred). This allows the design to be scaled to a repeating pattern without losing sharpness. Raster images (JPG, PNG) are often rejected or require a minimum of 300 DPI and may still result in a lower-quality print.
Is white considered a color when calculating my printing costs?
No, white is not counted as a color.
What does the "acid-free virgin pulp" component mean for the quality?
The inclusion of acid-free virgin pulp ensures the tissue paper is high-quality, strong, and archival-safe (meaning it will not yellow or degrade the products it wraps over time).
Does this product come as individual sheets or on a roll?

Tissue paper should only be used for wrapping non-edible products. For food wrapping, dedicated Food Papers (like Deli or Grease-Resistant Paper) must be used.
